Momentum holds ribbon cutting

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for Momentum Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Sealy July 25, to commemorate them joining the Sealy Chamber of Commerce. Landowner Education program set

CONTRIBUTED REPORT The Multi-County New Landowner Education program is a series of 7 informational meetings, seminars, and field days designed to make new landowners in Austin, Colorado, Fayette, & Washington Counties aware of what types of agricultural enterprises are best for their property. Participants in the program will hear from experts in a variety of fields in agriculture about best management practices that can be implemented on their own property.

Mill Creek Cleanup Day set

CONTRIBUTED REPORT The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Mill Creek Partnership will host the Second Annual Mill Creek Cleanup Day on August 13. Mill Creek watershed residents are invited to clean up their properties and bring the collected items to the Bleiblerville Volunteer Fire Department, located at 3912 Farm-to-Market Road 2502.

The Austin County Grand Jury returned indictments against # people in the July 27 session. Those indicted include: Benjamin Abernathy Lance, possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1 < 1g.
