Extension Education Association of Austin County, which is a direct part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, sponsored an educational program titled “Wills and Trust” May 10 at the AgriLife Extension Office. Attorney Wendy Yates (Moorman Tate Haley Upchurch and Yates of Brenham) and Rob Yates (Baylor Scott & White Medical Center of Brenham) presented an informative program on the importance of wills and trust. They explained the roles of each and the items that should be considered when assets are involved. During their program they also discussed many probate misnomers related to hospitalization, retirement centers, property, taxes and the law.
