The Flood Warning is canceled for the Brazos River In Richmond
* At 0915 AM Friday the stage was 44.3 feet.
* Fell below flood stage at 3:37 AM Friday.
* Flood stage is 45.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to 41.6 feet by Saturday morning.
* At 45.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding begins as water escapes the main channel
below the gauge. Livestock operations near Thompsons are affected and 
precautions should be taken to protect cattle including potential relocation 
in low lying areas. Baudet Road southeast of Richmond and Redbird Lane in 
Fulshear are threatened and the southbound turnaround at U.S. Highway 59 is 
threatened.

Flood Warning extended until Friday evening... The Flood Warning continues for the Brazos River In Richmond

* until Friday evening or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0715 PM Thursday the stage was 45.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 45.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by tomorrow 
morning.
* At 46.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding continues with water in the Simonton 
area upstream of the gauge. Simonton closes their gates and pumping begins. 
Water is over Baudet Road southeast of Richmond and Red Bird Lane in Fulshear.
Significant portions of the flood plain near Thompsons are inundated requiring
relocation of cattle from low lying areas. FM 1458 near FM 1093 in Austin 
County is threatened. The southbound turnaround at U.S. Highway 59 is 
inundated.

8:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10
A Flood Warning continues for The Brazos River In Richmond until Friday afternoon or until the warning is canceled.
* At 8:15 a.m. Thursday the stage was 46.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 45.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by early tomorrow.
* At 46.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding continues with water in the Simonton area upstream of the gauge. Simonton closes their gates and pumping begins.
