Trinity Lutheran Preschool has had to face the realities of the COVID-19 economy and has closed its doors for the 2020-2021 school year.
Factored into this decision are the loss of tuition during the spring semester, the lower child per teacher requirements from the state, and higher cost for sanitizing classrooms and equipment.
It is anticipated that the staff will be able to return for the 2021-2022 school year.
In order to re-open classrooms next year, the preschool must maintain licensing compliance with Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. That includes training hours for staff, annual inspections, license, and insurance. Trinity Lutheran Preschool will have to raise operating capital this year without tuition. Fundraisers will be announced at a later date.
