Students, faculty and families attended this year’s See You at the Pole Sept. 27 at Faith Academy. This year’s theme was “Fixing Our Eyes on Jesus.” Students are encouraged to gather at a school flagpole to pray. That means that all around the world, in every time zone for 24 hours, students will be praying for their schools, friends, families, churches and communities.
This is the 27th anniversary for See You at the Pole, a student-initiated and student-led movement that started in the Fort Worth suburb of Burleson, Texas, in 1990.
The event brings students to their school flagpoles to intercede for their leaders, schools and families, asking God to bring moral and spiritual awakening to their campuses and countries.
