Sealy News donates to HOA-Meals on Wheels

Tad Desai of The Sealy News presents Buddy Chance of HOA-Meals on Wheels a check for $485.55. The Sealy News donates proceeds from the newspaper’s recycling bin to the nonprofit organization. Thank you to all those who contributed. Chance, the program’s executive director, and Board Chairman Carolyn Bilski also expressed their gratitude.

‘Thanks to all who so generously supported our donation appeal,’ Chance and Bilski wrote in a joint statement. ‘Your special gift assists us in ongoing support to many seniors who lack the physical or financial resources to adequately maintain a healthy well-being. We ask our seniors to make a donation for their meal service if they are so able. Many cannot afford the cost of $4 for their meal. Regardless of their ability, hot nutritious meals are delivered by caring and sharing volunteers. If you would like to continue your support of our senior program, call us at 979-885-4188 or come by our new building at 915 Frydek Road, Sealy. Donations can be made by mail to this same address. The Board of Directors of HOA-Meals on Wheels thank each of you for your support. A special and blessed New Year to all in the year of 2018.’
