Scholarship awarded to Wallis veterinary student


Ankeny, Iowa – Stephanie Adamcik originally of Wallis, was recently awarded the IVMA Foundation Supporting Leadership Scholarship in the amount of $500.

Adamcik received her bachelor’s of science degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University.

She recently finished her third year at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University. After graduating with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, Adamcik would like to go own her own large animal veterinary practice and include integrative medical techniques such as chiropractic and acupuncture in her practice.

She is the daughter of Bill Adamcik and Karen Adamcik.

The Iowa Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA) is a 501c3 nonprofit, member-service organization dedicated to the veterinary profession. The IVMA supports member veterinarians and promotes the profession through continuing education, publications and advocacy.
