Randy Wayne Hinze passed away Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 in Sealy, Texas at the age of 61. He was born on March 3, 1956 to Fritz Hinze and Rosalee Ross Hinze in Bellville, Texas.
He attended school in Sealy and graduated from Sealy High School in 1974. On October 12, 1974, he married Georgia Lynn Konarik, the love of his life. They had two children, Jeff and Kerry, and raising them was the best pleasure that life could have given him.
Randy worked hard all his life to give the best to his wife and children. He worked for Lane Western Water Well Company and then went to work for International Paper until retiring. Eventually he and Georgia Lynn decided to venture into the restaurant industry and owned and operated Filips’s Bar-B-Que where they worked together for six years until the passing of Georgia Lynn.
Randy loved life, he loved people and most of all, loved his family. He was not only a husband and a father…he was a good friend to so many, including children. He was not only the world’s best Puga, he was the only Puga to his beloved grandchildren and many others. He was known as Puga to so many others in the community.
All those that knew Randy, knew they could count on him for anything and he never expected anything in return. His big smile, huge hugs and even bigger laughter will be missed. His generosity he showed others will be in our hearts forever. He never met a stranger and if you met him you were a friend for life.
Randy is survived by his son and daughter in-law, Jeff and Kelly Hinze, daughter and son-in-law, Kerry and Jeff Kovar; grandchildren: Adalyn and Lyndi Hinze and Luke and Mason Kovar; sister in-laws: Margie Susen and Karen Konarik and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Georgia Lynn Hinze, parents Rosalee and Fritz Hinze, mother and father in-law Georgia and Johnnie Konarik.
