Tiger Stage Company puts on one-act play

“Sarcophagus” takes place in Moscow in 1986 and is a firsthand account of what happened in the research hospital where the victims of the Chernobyl explosion were sent.

The nuclear reactor meltdown in Chernobyl occurred in April where a steam blast led to a fire which released toxins into the air resulting in numerous deaths and other side-effects, leaving countless patients that had to be treated somewhere.

The Tiger Stage Company has now placed at the District UIL Meet 33 years in a row thanks to this production.
