Community Bible Study
Community Bible Study is beginning Aug. 27 by studying the Book of John. This year all USA CBS classes will be online with virtual core groups. Bellville CBS is a women’s Bible study that also includes classes for children/youth and special needs adults (Agape class). The Bellville CBS class will offer three class time opportunities for participants: Thursday at 10:30 a.m., Monday at 7:30 p.m. or Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. To register, visit www.communitybiblestudy.org, and enter Bellville in the “find a class near you” box. Fish fry
The Sealy Knights of Columbus will hold a fish fry on Friday, Aug. 28, at the KC Hall, 1390 Hwy. 90 West, Sealy. Serving from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for pick up. A portion of proceeds will benefit HOA Meals on Wheels.

Grand opening
The Austin County Republican Party campaign headquarters grand opening will be held at 4 W. Main St. in Bellville on Saturday, Aug. 29, from noon to 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Chance to Dance
Chance to Dance for special needs children will begin Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 4-5 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 707 Eighth St., Sealy.

Ladies dance, exercise class
A ladies dance and exercise class will begin Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 10-11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 707 Eighth St., Sealy.

My Mommy and Me
My Mommy and Me dance classes for children 18 months to 2 years will begin Thursday, Sept. 3, from 6-6:45 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 707 Eighth St., Sealy. Other classes are forming soon. Contact Marsha Merrell at jobemarsha@aol.com for more information.

Lions Sealy Dance Club
Lions Sealy Dance Club will hold a dance on Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Sealy American Legion Hall, from 7:30-11 p.m., with Charles and the Fabulous Four providing the music. Masks will be required when entering the hall and temperatures will be checked. Please do not bring door prizes. It is suggested that you only dance with your partner or the people you come with, or just come out to enjoy some country music.

Golf tournament and ball drop
The Sealy Chamber of Commerce will hold a ball drop at its annual golf tournament on Sept. 24. Anyone can enter for a chance to win $250, $100 or a $50 gift certificate at a Sealy Chamber member restaurant.
