The Austin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the attempted burglary of an ATM at Industry State Bank in the early morning hours of Aug. 12.
About 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, two men tried to pry open the ATM at the bank in Industry. Their efforts were unsuccessful and no money was stolen.
Surveillance video shows two young Black males. One was wearing a white tank top, basketball shorts and calf high socks with no shoes. The other wore a black hoodie and black pants. Both men had face masks.
Officers believe the suspects were driving a red, four-door car and may have parked near the Austin County Farmers Mutual building.
Sheriff Jack Brandes said deputies are seeking videos from surveillance cameras at other homes and businesses. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 979-865-2949.
