Mary Vicenik went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2018, at the age of 95. She was born to Mike and Annie Drymala in Sealy, Texas on March 17, 1923. She was the middle child of 10. She was a life time resident of Sealy, Texas.

She graduated from Sealy High School where she was an athlete and excelled in volleyball. In 1945 she married the love of her life, Louis James Vicenik. She went on to work at Sealy National Bank where she retired after 22 years. She enjoyed going to local dances, traveling to many countries, quilting, dominos, ponytail, gambling, Friday night ladies and family.

She was devoted to her church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Ladies American Legend and president of the local AARP. Mary always saw the good in people; she was a positive, fun loving inspiration to everyone that met her. She is a woman of pure beauty; she is loved and cherished by her children and grandchildren, admired and respected by friends and missed by all.

She was preceded in death by: her husband of 51 years, Louis James Vicenik; her parents, Mike and Annie Drymala; son, baby boy Vicenik; grandson, Todd Krampitz; brother, Felix Drymala; sisters, Helen Janda, Delores Rachunek, Clara Drymala, Victoria Drymala and Annie Kubiak.

Mary is survived by her 4 children Louis Vicenik and spouse June, Cindy Krampitz and spouse Mike, Mark Vicenik and spouse Judy, Mary Zweifel and spouse William; grandchildren Stephanie Krampitz, Matt Vicenik, Chad Vicenik, Tad Krampitz, Vicki Massenti, Vince Vicenik, Cody Vicenik, Laura Ritter and Nick Zweifel; nine great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Florian Drymala and Joe Drymala and sister Theresa Nowak.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 26, at 7 p.m. at Knesek Family Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 27, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy, Texas, she had requested that everyone wear red to her funeral.

In lieu of flowers she requested that donations be made to her grandson’s foundation, The Todd Krampitz Foundation www.tkfoundation.org.
