Lisa Louise Howard Dittert, 47, went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2018 at her Cat Spring residence surrounded by family. Lisa bravely fought a lengthy battle with cancer.
Lisa was born on Sept. 17, 1970 in Sulfur Springs, Texas to parents Ronnie and Lois Putnam Howard. She graduated from Bellville High School then went on to Blinn College and graduated with an associate’s degree in business.
Lisa married Malcolm Dittert on June 10, 1989. Together they raised three beautiful children, Milton, Mitch and Molly. Lisa loved gardening and horseback riding and helping her children raise their ag animals. She always volunteered to help with fundraisers for the local halls and fire departments and was always there to lend a hand at family functions. Lisa was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Cat Spring and the Cat Spring Ag Society.
Lisa is survived by her Husband Malcolm, Sons Milton and Mitch, Daughter Molly, Father Ronnie Howard, Brothers Robert and Russell Howard, Sisters Summer Howard and Star Riha, aunt Kathryn and her husband Victor Saceudo, aunt Donna Miller, sister-in-law Melinda and her husband Lenard Brod, sister-in-law Marilyn and her husband Travis Nelson, sister-in-law Marsha and her husband Randall Tipp, brother-in-law Myron Dittert and friend Ilse Schackman, Mother and Father in law Clarence and Delores Dittert as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her mother Lois Putnam Howard, stepmother Linda Howard, brother Eddie Howard and grandparents Edmund and Gladys Hartmann.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church of Cat Spring, 480 Ross St, Cat Spring, Texas 78933.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions can be made to the Cat Spring Ag Society, PO Box 96, Cat Spring, Texas 78933 or the Cat Spring Cemetery 7974 Cat Spring Cemetery Road, Cat Spring, Tx 78933.
