Linda Sneed Kellner of Sealy, Texas, earned her angel’s wings on Nov. 3, 2019, at the age of 68.
Linda was born on Jan. 24, 1951, to Lt. Col. William “Bill” Sneed and Joyce Sneed in Temple, Texas. Being in a military family, she grew up all over the world but would spend every summer in Sealy.
Sealy was always a home base for her, and she moved here full time her senior year in high school. After graduation, she earned her bachelor’s degree in teaching from Sam Houston and enjoyed a wonderful teaching career.
Linda loved her family more than anything and would host the most amazing birthday and holiday parties. She never let an occasion or milestone slip by without a celebration. She was also a brilliant interior decorator and designer and would turn any house into a beautiful home. Her greatest joy came later in life with the arrival of her precious grandson Wyatt. They were inseparable and true partners in crime.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Joyce Sneed. She is survived by her son William “Bill” Kellner and her grandson Wyatt Kellner of Sealy as well as her brother, Dr. Loyd Sneed and his wife Dr. Kathryn Sneed of College Station, and her nephew and niece Jonathan Sneed of Los Angeles and Jessica Sneed of San Antonio, as well as numerous family and friends.
A memorial service and celebration of her life were held at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Sealy on Saturday Nov. 9. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. John’s in memory of Linda.
