James Leland Dragg was a man of honor and character. All of his career was with NASA. He was known for his expertise in putting men on the moon. He has so many commendations for his 44 years with NASA, including two flags that went to the moon.
James was born June 1, 1936, to Dave C. Dragg and Lottie Mae Dunfield Dragg. He died Sept. 6, 2019.
He is survived by his wife Sandra A. Dragg, son Ronald Dragg, three daughters: Brenda G. Sester, Barbara (Bobbie) Anzalone, and Linda D. LaDoux, and one brother, Charles Dragg.
A private service with close family and friends was held due to a lack of living family members.
He will be missed by all who knew him. His best friend of 60 years is Royce G. Meacham.
