Faith Academy kindergarten graduation

With much pomp and circumstance, Faith Academy held its annual kindergarten graduation ceremony May 21. After the recessional and a brief introduction by kindergarten teacher, Melissa Little, the 15 students proudly recited their chosen Bible verse. Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.’ - Matthew 19:14. After delighting family and friends with songs and a poem, the 15 kindergarten students then crossed the stage and received their diplomas. Before the closing prayer and recessional, the students locked arms and finished the evening with a rousing rendition of ‘First Grade, First Grade’ sung to the tune of ‘New York, New York.’ The evening concluded with the graduates and their guests enjoying refreshments and fellowship.
