Knights grab district win

Last Tuesday, Faith Academy travelled to Huntsville to match up with the Alpha Omega Lions in a non-district game. The Knights fell behind early and never recovered, ultimately being defeated by a 59-31 score.

Kaleb Shepherd led the scoring with 15 points while Brody Schiller and Cameron Crawford scored four apiece. Maury Cano and Luke Potter each scored a basket as well and Ethan McMakin provided sizeable contributions off the bench.

Friday was an away game in Alvin with the Lions of Living Stones Christian School, the only other team in the district without a win. A pair of Knights supplied double-digit points to grab a 51-41 win on the road.

The scoring was even—Schiller (12), Crawford (10), Pierce Newcomb (9), Nathan Taake (8), and Roy Shepherd (7).

The Knights are now 1-6 in district and 3-12 overall.
