Dolores Ann Kveton Cain of Sealy, Texas, passed away on Aug. 2, 2018.
Dolores was born Sept. 2, 1942 in Sealy, to Forest Wesley Kveton and Doris Ryslin Lyons Kveton. Dolores grew up in Sealy. She was baptized on Dec. 27, 1942 and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sealy by O.C. Schreiner. She graduated from Sealy High School in 1960. Then she moved to Houston where she met her husband Jerry Cain from Nacogdoches. Dolores and Jerry were married May 22, 1961 at Trinity Lutheran Church by W. M. Schreiner.
Dolores worked for Cabot Oil Company from which she retired in 1997. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was involved in multiple groups. She loved spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dolores liked doing crafts and gardening.
Dolores is survived by her husband Jerry Cain, daughters Peggy Lynn Cain Jurek and husband Ben “Fox” Jurek, and Pamela Gail Cain Epperly. Grandchildren: James Bradley Sneed, Ben Anthony Epperly, Rachel Ann Epperly Hilson and Michael Andrew Jurek and girlfriend Jessica Moore. Great-Grandchildren: Zabein Edward Allen, Clayton Benjamin Sneed, Charles Anthony Arriaga, Kaden Anthony Jurek, Madilynnne Emory Jurek and Ellen Jean Hilson. Many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Dolores is preceded in death by her parents Forest Wesley Kveton and Doris Ryslin Lyon Kveton and her sister Rae Marie Kveton.
The family would like to express special thanksto Dr. Paul Bing, Dr. Daniel Medrano, Nora Garcia, the ladies of First Texas Home Health Care and Rev. Kenneth Bersche.
Interment was held Aug. 6, 2018 at the Lyons Cemetary.
