Center Stage Dance Studio wins big at major event

In San Antonio last month, Center Stage Dance Studio competed against dozens of dance studios from around the state and area for prestigious top honors at Showstopper, the largest Dance Competition in the Country. Their entries placed as follows:

Ellie Anderson received first place overall in Senior Performance Solo, ''Dare'' received first place overall in Senior Competitive Teacher's Duet/Trio, Audrey Schackelford received 10th place overall in Mini Performance Solo, Laura Beth Bodensteiner received third place overall in Junior Performance Solo, Jordan Evans received seventh place overall in Teen Performance Solo, Makayla Evans received ninth place overall in Teen Performance Solo, Rachael Hohlt received 10th place overall in Teen Performance Solo, Katy Davidson received fifth place overall in Senior Performance Solo, Jaycee Benoit received fifth place overall in Teen Performance Solo, ''I Wanna Rock'' received 10th place overall in Mini Performance Small, ''Gee, I Wish I Was Back In The Army'' received seventh place overall in Mini Performance Small, ''10,000 Reasons'' received fifth place overall in Junior Performance Small, ''Best Fake Smile'' received 10th place overall in Teen Performance Small, ''Ice of Phoenix'' received seventh place overall in Teen Performance Small, ''Lazy River'' received fifth place overall in Teen Performance Small, ''Stranger'' received seventh place overall in Teen Performance Small, ''Dreamer'' received eighth place overall in Junior Performance Large, ''Oceans'' received first place overall in Teen Performance Large, ''A Looney Tunes Production'' received first place overall in Teen Performance Super, and Center Stage Dance Studio received two double platinum awards; 16 platinum awards; 15 gold awards; This qualifies them to go to the Showstopper National Finals in Galveston this summer.
