Blinn College is set to host an exciting night of food, music, and fun while raising money for scholarships and new educational programs on the Sealy Campus.
The fourth annual “Boots & Blue Jeans for Blinn” will be Friday, April 20, from 6-10 p.m. at the Sealy American Legion Hall (1630 Meyer St). The fundraiser will include a steak dinner, live music by The Blue Note Brothers, an auction, and a raffle.
“This event is particularly important to the Blinn College-Sealy Campus because the proceeds benefit Sealy students,” said Lisa Caton, Director of the Blinn-Sealy Campus. “Everyone always has a great time coming out to enjoy a nice dinner and dancing, and the best part of the evening is that it’s all for a good cause.”
The most recent Boots & Blue Jeans raised $15,000 for Sealy Campus scholarships.
Event tickets and raffle tickets are available at the Blinn-Sealy Campus located at 3701 Outlet Center Drive or purchased by committee members. Committee members are Kim Meloneck, Toni Franklin, Betsy Zapalac, Allen Kaminski, Carolyn Bilski, Allene Schmitt, DeeAnne Lerma, Connie Youngblood, and Gaye Lynn Thomas.
