The Austin County Civic Chorale, in their 34th season, will be presenting Antonio Vivaldi's "Gloria" as their first performance of this season. Two concerts will be given in two locations. The first performance will be on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Bellville. The second performance will be on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 4 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy. There is no admission charge but donations are gratefully accepted to defray costs. Thirty-one singers from the Austin and Washington County area will be participating in this performance. The Chorale was established in August of 1985 to promote the choral art, provide an outlet for area singers wishing to participate in this realm of music and especially for the enrichment of the area communities. It is a volunteer, non-auditioned chorus. The Chorale is under the direction of Janet Allphin and will be accompanied by Sehoy Meeks.
