Austin County A&M Club announces Ueckert Spirit Award


The Austin County A&M Club is pleased to announce the Dr. Bruce Ueckert Spirit Award applications are available for Austin County students currently attending Texas A&M University in College Station.

The Dr. Bruce Ueckert Spirit Award, named for Dr. Bruce Ueckert '58, recognizes students for their outstanding contributions to student life programs at Texas A&M University. Dr. Ueckert served as the President of the Austin County A&M Club for over 15 years until his death. Because of his unique leadership, vision, and support of student involvement, this award was established by The Austin County A&M Club in 2009 in his honor.

The Dr. Bruce Ueckert Spirit Award will honor a student that demonstrates high Involvement, creates positive Experiences throughout the Aggie community, impacts student life at Texas A&M and enhances the Aggie Spirit. Unlike other awards, the Dr. Bruce Ueckert Spirit Award recognizes those students who make contributions to the university through participation in student organizations, Aggie traditions and university events.
