EEA (Extension Education Association) of Austin County, part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, will be sponsoring an educational program titled “Civil Defense Program for Active Shooters - What to do when it counts!” at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 at the St. John Lutheran Church Sanctuary, 520 N. Holland, Bellville.

The program will be presented by Michael Macha.

EEA would like to invite the community to come out and hear how to respond in the case of such an incidence. Knowing just how to act in a chaotic situation can truly make the difference. For more information, contact Michelle Allen, County Extension Agent -Family and Consumer Health at (979) 865-2072. Extension programs serve people of all ages regardless of socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, religion, disability or national origin.
