Sealy Junior High had a lot going on Jan. 23. Eighth graders had a career day and one of the other classes went to the aquarium. The sixth graders came out to San Felipe for the day. It was coordinated by Eleanor Stoddard at the State Historic Site & Museum and Ms. Dvorak, sixth-grade math teacher at Sealy Junior High. The Texas Master Naturalist Gideon Lincucum Chapter hosted the kids at Stephen F. Austin State park with interactive nature based activities including an Old 300 Survival Hike, Bite Me Leave Me Be activity on things to watch out for on the trails, a nature bingo/scavenger hunt game, and a hands-on mammal tracks/scat activity.
