Goad wins state preview

After making state as a sophomore, and narrowly missing another trip last year, Sealy senior Maddie Goad is gearing up for another run at the best of the best in Class 4A and got an early look at the golf course that will host the state tournament again.


Bellville opens round two

The Navasota Rattlers proved to be the thorn in the side of the Bellville Brahmas boys’ basketball team, handing the red and white their only two losses within District 26-4A entering this week of play.


Cougar strength earns fourth from Rice

Both the boys’ and girls’ powerlifting squads from Wallis Brazos finished fourth in the team competition at last Wednesday’s Swamp Strength Invitational 2.0 at Rice Consolidated High School.
