The real estate market is white-hot right now. As soon as a property hits Zillow, the listing agent enjoys a bidding war above the asking price. In fact, someone stopped by to inquire about the Little Tikes house in our backyard. I had to break the news to the curious couple that our plastic, 20 square foot tiny house property is already under contract and pending inspection. After all, the house’s plastic countertops are so easy to clean.

Some wise decisions

For those following Coffee and Chaos from the start, I have some updates. First, there were no explosions in my absence last week (though I hear Cat Spring VFD had a truck on standby just in case). More excitedly, when out in my garden picking tomatoes, I discovered a cucumber! I won’t end world hunger with my small garden, but this achievement means I am getting better at being Texan … now if I could just learn to love chicken fried steak and Whataburger.
