Vernetta Ann Hajdik, of Wallis, Texas passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side and into the arms of her Lord on March 25, 2020.

It has been a year since the Lord took you home. Due to COVID-19 restrictions last year, the Family Wishes to Honor Her Life with a Special Memorial Mass on Saturday, June 26th, 2021, at 11 a.m., at Guardian Angel Church in Wallis, Texas.

“We Think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched, for nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much.”

Born November 30, 1939, welcomed by her loving parents, John and Christine Viaclovsky of Wallis, Texas, Vernetta attended Guardian Angel Catholic School and graduated from Wallis High School in 1957. Soon after graduation, Vernetta married the love of her life, Willie Louis Hajdik, Jr., of Sealy, Texas on June 30, 1957. During their happy life together, they were blessed with two beloved daughters. They were married 57 years before Willie passed on June 16, 2014.

Vernetta is survived by her children, Melinda Baros and husband John of Thornton, Texas, Annette Smith and husband Steven of Sealy, Texas, sister Eunice Haas and husband Dan, and many adoring grandchildren, relatives and friends that wish an opportunity to pay their respects to her life and her great love.
