Rosemary Helen Lynn Beachboard, of Sealy, Texas, peacefully went to be with Our Lord on April 12th, 2021. She was surrounded by family in the comfort of her home. Born on January 16th, she was 86 years young and the only daughter of Guy & Helen Lynn. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Forrest (Frosty) Lynn, James (Jim) Lynn, Walter (Corky) Lynn, stepbrother John (Bunny) Saunders, and her firstborn daughter, Penny Lee Beachboard, whom she sadly lost at birth.

For 65 years, Rosemary has been the loving wife to Robert (Bob) Beachboard. Her husband along with their three children and families survive her: Daughter- Kelly (Kevin) Morrison, Son- Darren (Airali) Beachboard, Daughter- Nicole Beachboard; Grandson Joseph Dodson and Granddaughters- Dulce Beachboard and Sydney Dodson, along with many other nieces and nephews.

While raising and caring for her three children, Rosemary enjoyed many activities and passions during her life. She worked as a legal and medical secretary before retiring. As PTA President, she kept involved in her children’s education, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority brought out her philanthropic side. She loved music and the arts, playing piano and cello. As a talented painter and sculptor, her family will forever be able to enjoy her beautiful artistic creations.

For years, Rosemary endured failing eyesight, macular degeneration and eventually completely lost her vision. Knowing this unfortunate progression, she embraced all that she could while still having the ability to see. She absolutely loved reading and educating herself about the world, handwriting heartfelt letters to family and friends, sewing beautiful handstitched quilts, growing her garden, decorating for every holiday, and take spontaneous trips with her husband.

She had a fantastic sense of humor and always found the bright side of everything. She was an incredibly wise woman with an ear for listening, a heart for loving and deep pockets of compassion. Always first to lift others up and teach them to believe in their potential, she took the time to gently remind you that patience is a virtue and under God’s loving watch, all will be well.

A loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend and devout Christian, Rosemary will be missed dearly by all those whose lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, Rosemary’s wishes were that donations be made in her name to her Ophthalmologist, to support the ongoing efforts of helping individuals with eyesight and blindness issues:
