Lillie May (Sens) Foehner, 93, of Sealy, Texas, passed away on April 22, 2021.

She was born at home in the Cleveland community of Austin County on December 31, 1927, and attended Cleveland School and graduated from Sealy High School in 1946.

Lillie May was married to Eugene Foehner at St. John Lutheran Church in Bellville on April 21, 1950. They made their home in Bay City and were married for 58 years.

She is survived by her sister, Clara Sens Young; nieces and nephews, Ronda Sens Landers, Sandi Sens Ward, Mark Sens, Vanessa Young Pearce, and Brad Young; seven great and four great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Alice (Hassler) Sens; husband, Eugene Foehner; brothers, Calvin (Sonny) and

Marvie Sens, and brother-in-law, Milton Young.

The funeral service was held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sealy on Saturday, May 1, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ken Bersche officiating.

Burial will follow at the Sealy Cemetery. No visitation will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church in Sealy or a charity of your choice.
