Judith Breaux Clauson of Sealy, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the age of 74. Judy was born on March 7, 1947 at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas to Berard and Mae Breaux.

The younger of two daughters, Judy graduated from South Houston High School in 1965. She would go on to graduate from the University of Texas Dental Branch, School of Dental Hygiene in 1967. From there she embarked on a decades long career in dental hygiene that spanned into 2021.

On June 19, 1970 she married John Clifford Clauson. They were blessed with sons Anthony Joseph (A.J.) in 1979 and Andrew John in 1984. They made their home in Conroe and Mont Belvieu before settling in Sealy over two decades ago.

Judy positively impacted the lives of countless people over the years as a dental hygienist. She took pride in the care she provided and enjoyed the connections she made with her patients. Most recently she worked at Chesson Dental in Katy and prior to that spent several years with Four Oaks Dental in Columbus.

From show rabbits and mini donkeys to rescue dogs and cats, Judy had a deep love and compassion for animals. The joy they gave her was only equaled by the love she gave them. Her presence in their lives is sorely missed.

For everything Mom was to many others, she was so much more to our family. Her character, energy and work ethic were evenly matched with her warm heart and sense of humor. Her departure was far too soon and far too sudden, but we will hold tight to memories until we are with her again.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Berard and Mae (Gossett) Breaux.

She is survived by her husband of over 50 years: John, sons: A.J. and Andrew of Sealy, daughter-in-law: Ana Galvis Clauson, and sister: Nan Thomas of Pasadena.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Star of Hope Mission, the Houston SPCA, or an animal rescue organization of your choice in her memory.
