Jo-Anne Wehunt Gilliam of Fayetteville and formally of Bellville, passed to her heavenly home on February 13, 2022, at the age of seventy-one years and six months. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

Jo-Anne was a graduate of Sam Houston State University and spent the majority of her career working in the offshore drilling industry in engineering. She loved the Lord and loved to sing and is a former member of the Austin County Civic Chorale.

Jo-Anne was born in Selma Alabama on August 14, 1950, to parents James and Gladys Wehunt, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 27 years James Gilliam of Fayetteville, five children, Julie Scheibe of Gallatin, TN, Jeff Muse and his wife Brandie of Gallatin, TN, David Gilliam of Splendora, TX, Harold Dino Gilliam and his wife Kara of Bryan, TX, Kimberly Crouse and her husband John of Bryan, TX, Sister Joyce Gauntt of Larue, TX, Brother Jim Wehunt and his wife Sam of Prairie Village, KS, ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be held on Sunday, March 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 402 Atchison Street, Sealy, Texas 77474. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the Lupus Foundation of America.
