Evangeline Emilie Coody, 91, was born on August 1, 1930, in Peters, Texas, and passed away January 12, 2022. Evangeline was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was confirmed in 1943 and married to the love of her life, Mance Coody, on April 4, 1948. Her loving life partner, Mance went to heaven on December 14, 2008. Evangeline spent her life as a devoted homemaker.

Survivors are her two sons, Larry Coody (and wife Rose) of Sealy and Lowell Coody (and wife Andi) of Sealy. Grandchildren include Stacey (and husband Brian Lee) of Tomball, Amy (and husband Doug Berger) of League City, Melanie (and husband Kenny Willingham) of Sealy, Monica Coody of Deer Park, Stacey Henrion of San Antonio, Michael Henrion of Bellville, Daniel Henrion of Bellville, and David Henrion of Bellville. Greatgrandchildren include Carly Weldon, Alana Lee, Noah Wood, Abbi Berger, Colin Weldon, Kyle Willingham, Reese Lee, Travis Willingham and Matthew Willingham.

Evangeline was also preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lillie Ludwig.

Evangeline requested memorials be made to Trinity Lutheran Church of Sealy in lieu of flowers.
