Crissie lost her long battle with diabetes on March 31, 2021, her sister Margie Chapa and niece Bernadette were by her side.

Crissie was the youngest of nine, born in Galveston, Texas then calling Sealy her home where she graduated Sealy High School. She moved around the area but always called Sealy home.

She is survived by her sisters Barbara Lopez from Katy, Texas, Margie Chapa from Richmond, Texas, Bonnie Ruth from Lafayette, Louisiana and brothers Pete Gonzales from Rosenberg, Texas and Steve Gonzales from Las Vegas, Nevada. Nieces Angela Gonzales, Katherine Torres, Bernadette Garcia, Natasha Garza, April Gonzales, Olivia Gonzales, Jacqueline Richard, and nephew Daniel Lopez. Great-nephews Jaylon Garza, Arthur James Richard, Gabriel Dimas, Esteban Torres, great-nieces Samantha Lopez, Susana Lopez, Victoria Golden, and Liliana Torres.

Crissie was preceded in death by her parents Pete P. Gonzales and Susie Trevino Gonzales, sisters Carolina Gonzales, Jeanie Montemayor and brother Eugene (Juju) Gonzales.

She was a true inspiration to everyone she met and will truly be missed.

A small gravesite service will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery on June 10 at 1 p.m. in honor of her 49th birthday.
