Bennie M. Sepulvado, 91, passed away peacefully at her home in Sargent on Oct. 21, 2023. A service celebrating her life will be on March 23, at 11 a.m. at the St Peter & Paul Catholic Church located at 936 South Front Street in Bellville Texas. Lunch will be served at the church immediately after the service.

Bennie was born Aug. 13, 1932, in Rosenberg, to the late Joseph John Mazac and Louise Elizabeth Kasper Mazac.

Bennie enjoyed her role as a homemaker and caring for her family, but after the children were grown, she pursued her passion in the sales industry. Her “gift of gab” and determination was an asset for any sales position. After retirement, Bennie enjoyed watching her sports, mainly the Houston Astros. She could name every player and knew their stats. Family and friends knew not to call during a game.

Bennie’s faith was very important in her life, and she was a member of the St Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She loved to bake her famous kolaches, cakes and cookies for any function at the church. She loved cooking for her family, and they could always count on her baking all the desserts for any holiday or family gathering.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren Kaylon Cook and Jackson Martin.

Survivors include sons Kenneth Shupak and wife Starla, Michael Shupak; and daughter Linda Cook; sisters Mary Mewis and Lillie Bonnie and husband Gene; brother Leroy Mazac; grandchildren William Shupak, Shannon Glaves, Sutton Shupak, Chrystina Edwards, Leigh-Taylor Jolliffe, Emily Shupak, Michael Shupak II and Brittany Cook; great grandchildren Natalie Shupak, Aidan Shupak, Riana Coates, Addison Shupak, Max Glaves, Austen Shupak-Glaves, Gardner Edwards, Orson Edwards, McCaffrey Edwards, Oscar Jolliffe, Grady Jolliffe, Danny Martin, Joy Key, Jared Key and Skylar La Frae and one greatgreat grandchild Charlie Jo Hahn.

Bennie had a very kind and loving nature and will be missed by all.
