GENE “POP” MAXWELL

Gene “Pop” Maxwell was born Feb. 27, 1933, in Pritchett to F.W. Maxwell and Myrtle May (Brandon) Maxwell. He went to be with his Heavenly father on March 4, 2024 at the age of 91 years and 6 days. At the age of 18 months, he lost his dad and his mom re-married to Bill Strange. Bill was instrumental in influencing the core values and his love for him and his sister JoAnn. Dad graduated from Gladewater High School in Gladewater, Texas. He served his country from 1951 to 1953 in the US Army.

Bennie M. Sepulvado, 91, passed away peacefully at her home in Sargent on Oct. 21, 2023. A service celebrating her life will be on March 23, at 11 a.m. at the St Peter & Paul Catholic Church located at 936 South Front Street in Bellville Texas. Lunch will be served at the church immediately after the service.

Jennifer (Jenny) Ann Hernandez died Jan. 28, 2024, in Sealy. Jennifer was born Oct. 27, 1979.

Jennifer graduated from First Baptist Academy, Katy.

“Jenny” was a beautiful, positive, lover of family, helper, God’s daughter, a member Of Christian City Fellowship Church, Sealy. Jenny had no other outside interests beyond her family. As the Illness progressed and took control of her body, she still tried to retain as much independence, as possible. Truly loved by all and she will be missed.

Margaret Jean Jatzlau, 77, of Sealy, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, with her children at her side.

Margaret was born on Nov. 11, 1946, in Bellville, to parents Ervin Lueckemeyer and Adela Pomikal Stein. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran religion.
