The Austin County Grand Jury returned indictments against six people in the Feb. 24 session. Those indicted include:

• Michael Ray Cardenas, assault of a family/ household member with previous conviction.

• Daniel Richard Clester, possession of a controlled substance.

• Nicholas Henry, theft of property with two or more previous convictions.

• Charles Ray Josey, possession of a controlled substance.

• Dominique Riston, murder.

• Edward James Ray Spence, injury to child/elderly/ disabled w/ intent for bodily injury.
