Texas A&M Forest Service urges wildfire safety during hunting season

Texas A&M Forest Service reminds Texans to be careful with activities that may cause a wildfire this hunting season. From 2017 to 2021, Texas A&M Forest Service responded to 3,682 wildfires burning 1.4 million acres. During that time, 42 percent of wildfires occurred during the major hunting season months of September through January.

Boo Bash 2022 was held Oct. 31 in Historic Main Street in Sealy. The outdoor festival with free admission provided entertainment, kid’s game and contest, haunted houses, face painting, a train ride and candy for children of all ages.
