Marks sees challenges in Sealy’s future

When it comes to taking charge of the growing pet population in area counties, nobody steps up to this challenge harder than Cheryl Mellenthin and her PUPS organization. PUPS, Prevent Unwanted Pets, was formed by Mellenthin in October 2003 and has since spayed and neutered more than 37,000 animals.
Development still ongoing

Wallis City Council is still doing its due diligence on a conventional home subdivision development that is planned for the community. “It is an ongoing project but I am not at liberty to discuss it because the estate has not been settled as of yet,” said Dayne Rice, developer for the property in question.
