The Blinn College District showcased its electrical pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs during a National Apprenticeship Week webinar organized by the Houston Area Apprenticeship Council to provide businesses, communities, and educators with a forum to discuss their initiatives and connect with job seekers.

After a winding road to her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing, Paige Friendshuh has a message for her fellow Blinn College District graduates. “I hope I can encourage people to chase their dreams relentlessly,” said Friendshuh, who will give one of two student addresses at Blinn’s fall 2022 commencement ceremony this month.

During the month of November, EEA (Extension Education Association) of Austin County, which is a direct part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, conducted a countywide educational program for local EEA members which focused on proper canning practices.
