Last week, the Bellville FFA Landscape, Floriculture, and Forages teams travelled to Nacogdoches to compete in the SFA Invitational CDEs. The landscape was 1st Place.
Matthew Wybro was the High Point Individual at the landscape contest, winning himself a belt buckle.
Layne Malinowski was 4th, James Haisler was 5th, and Levi Malinowski was 13th.
Floral placed 2nd as a team.
Lauren Lassus was the High Point Individual at the floriculture contest, also winning a belt buckle.
Lydia Huebner was 6th, Rachael Hohlt was 9th, and Madi Borne was 27th.
Sealy FFA Ag Mechanics earns first place in their class and a blue ribbon for their trailer project at HLSR. Congrats to the team of J Rodriguez, David Saldua, Anthony Venegas and Rafael Gomez.
Sealy FFA competes in the world’s largest livestock judging contest at Houston Livestock Show. Twenty-one Tigers made the journey to the big city and the highlights include championships in both divisions. In the Junior Division Sealy Jr FFA earns Champion Team. Ainsley Oliver 2nd high junior, Atalie Petrash 16th high, Jackson Volking and Hunter Hinze. In the Sr Division Sealy FFA earns champion team. Kenna Schram 4th high, Sydney Petrash 19th high, Ryleigh Gilfoil and Mackenzie Simmons.
The Brazos FFA teams had some strong finishes in the first round of livestock exhibitors at HLSR this last week.
